At GCW Homecoming 2021 Part 1, "Alwayz Ready" Matt Cardona emerged victorious in capturing the GCW World Championship. However, his triumph was marred by the physical toll it took on him. Cardona sustained numerous lacerations to his forehead, arms, and back, resulting in his once purple-and-white gear to become saturated with his own blood.
